For wedding planning consultations, we discuss your desired date, guest count, venue preferences, style, budget range, and any specific elements that are important to you. For corporate events, we review your event objectives, audience demographics, preferred dates, and desired outcomes. For children parties and family celebrations, we talk about the guest of honor, age group, theme ideas, and your vision for the celebration. We answer your questions about our services, process, and pricing. Yes, we offer both in-person consultations at our Central studio and virtual consultations via Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp video call. Virtual consultations are particularly popular for destination wedding clients, busy professionals who prefer the convenience, and clients who are traveling. We find that virtual consultations are just as effective as in-person meetings for initial discussions, and many of our clients prefer them for the convenience. For wedding planning clients who want to see physical samples (fabric swatches, floral examples, decor items), we can arrange a follow-up in-person meeting after the initial virtual consultation.

To make your consultation as productive as possible, it helps to have: your event date (or preferred date range), estimated guest count, event type (wedding, corporate, birthday, etc.), your venue (if already selected) or venue preferences, your approximate budget range, and any specific ideas, themes, or elements you know you want. Do not worry if you do not have all of these details figured out — many clients contact us early in their planning process with just a date and a general idea. We are here to help you develop your vision, not just execute a fully formed plan. Even if you are just beginning to think about your event, we encourage you to reach out — early consultations often save the most time and money.

Yes, we accommodate last-minute and urgent event requests whenever our schedule permits. For events within 2-4 weeks, our ability to help depends on our current workload and the complexity of your event. Simple coordination services (vendor booking, day-of management) can often be arranged quickly, while full planning services require more lead time. We have successfully planned beautiful events with as little as one week notice, though options are more limited at short notice. For urgent requests, we recommend calling our studio directly rather than emailing, as this allows us to assess our availability and start working on solutions immediately. Rush fees may apply for events booked with less than 4 weeks notice.

Our payment structures vary by service type and scope. For full wedding planning, payments are typically structured in phases: a deposit to secure our services (due at contract signing), followed by milestone payments at key planning stages, with the final balance due 2 weeks before the wedding. For corporate events, we typically require a 50% deposit with the balance due 2 weeks before the event. For day-of coordination and smaller services, a single payment or 50/50 split is standard. We accept bank transfer, credit card, and cheque payments. All payment terms are clearly outlined in our contracts with specific dates and amounts, so there are no surprises. We are happy to discuss flexible payment schedules for clients with specific cash flow needs.
