Can you work with any venue, or do you only use specific ones?
We design decor for virtually any venue in Hong Kong — hotels, restaurants, private clubs, outdoor spaces, and private residences. We know which venues have the best natural light, which have restrictions on open flames or hanging installations, and which load-in access makes setup most efficient. Whether your venue is a blank canvas ballroom or a character-filled heritage space, we design decor that works with (not against) the architecture to create something beautiful.
How far in advance should I book decoration services?
We recommend booking decoration design 6-10 weeks before your event date. This timeline allows for thorough design development, sourcing of materials and rentals, floral ordering (especially for seasonal or imported blooms), and coordination with your venue. For peak event season (October-December and March-June), 10-12 weeks is ideal as the best rental items and floral varieties can book up. For simpler designs or off-peak dates, 4-6 weeks may be sufficient. If you are also booking event planning services through us, decoration design is integrated into the overall planning timeline from the beginning.
Can you work within my budget?
Absolutely. We design decor at every budget level and are transparent about what is achievable within your investment range. An intimate dinner party (20-30 guests) with elegant table settings, simple floral arrangements, and ambient lighting starts around HK$15,000-25,000. A mid-size celebration (50-100 guests) with full room transformation typically ranges HK$40,000-80,000. A large-scale event (150+ guests) with elaborate installations and premium materials can range from HK$80,000-200,000+. During your consultation, we discuss your budget openly and recommend the design elements that will deliver maximum visual impact for your specific investment. We never upsell unnecessary elements.
Do you provide decoration only, or do I need to hire a planner too?
We offer decoration services both as a standalone service and as part of our full event planning packages. Many clients hire us for decoration only, particularly if they are handling other aspects of planning themselves. For decoration-only bookings, we design, source, install, and breakdown all decorative elements while you or your planner manage other vendors (catering, entertainment, photography, etc.). If you would like us to coordinate with your other vendors to ensure design cohesion, we are happy to do so. For clients who want a fully seamless experience, our full planning package includes decoration design as an integrated element.
Can you create custom pieces or installations?
Custom installations are one of our specialties and the element that truly sets our designs apart. Our in-house workshop can create bespoke signage, custom backdrops, unique table numbers, personalized favors, paper installations, fabric draping, and one-of-a-kind decorative pieces designed specifically for your event. We work with a network of artisans who can create custom neon signs, laser-cut details, hand-painted elements, and specialty floral installations. Custom pieces require additional design and production time (typically 3-4 weeks), so early booking is recommended if you want bespoke elements. During your consultation, we discuss custom options that fit your theme and budget.
